Beefy Generator Marketing

Pricing

What generator marketing costs, and what makes it cost that

Nobody should have to sit through a sales call to find out whether they can afford you. Here are the numbers, what moves them, what's not included, and an estimator you can run without giving us your email.

Get a range in about 30 seconds

Four questions. No email, no phone number, no submission. The result is a budgeting range, not a quote.

What are you trying to fix?
Where does your website and Google profile stand?
How many cities do you want to win?
What can you put toward advertising each month?

Estimated year one, all in
$61,500

We rebuild the pages that carry the load instead of starting from scratch, so more of month one goes to getting you more calls.

What this includes: our program fee, the one-time setup fee, and a suggested advertising budget billed to you directly by Google and Meta.

What it excludes: software you already pay for such as a CRM, photography or video production, and any third-party fees.

This is an estimate for budgeting, not a quote or a contract. Setup is waived if you prepay three months. Nothing here is submitted anywhere and we do not collect your information to show it.

Cost drivers

What pushes the number up and down

Pushes it up

Population and competition in your service area

A dealer covering greater Houston competes against more authorized dealers and more electricians than a dealer covering two rural counties. More competitors means more content, more pages, more link building, and higher ad costs per click.

How many channels you run at once

SEO alone is cheaper than SEO plus Local Services Ads plus Google Ads plus Facebook. Each one you add means more work managing it, tracking it and reporting on it.

Starting from zero

No website, an unclaimed Google Business Profile, 6 reviews and no tracking means the first 90 days are construction, not fine-tuning. That is what the one-time setup fee covers.

Multiple locations or a wide service radius

Every additional city you want to show up in is another set of pages, another set of citations and, often, another Google Business Profile to manage.

Ad budget

Ad spend is paid by you directly to Google or Meta and is separate from our monthly fee. Bigger budgets don't raise our fee, but they do raise your total marketing cost.

Pulls it down

An existing site and profile that are already decent

If your website already turns visitors into callers, and your Google profile is claimed, filled out and reviewed, we skip the rebuild and put the money into getting you more calls.

A tighter service area

Fewer cities means fewer pages and less ongoing content. Dealers who focus win their core radius faster and cheaper than dealers who chase everything within three hours.

Prepaying three months

We waive the $1,500 setup fee when you prepay the first three months.

Doing your part

Real install photos, quick answers to our questions, and a crew that asks for reviews cut down the amount of content we have to build from scratch.

Starting on one channel

Storm Ready at $1,500 per month exists so a dealer can fix the basics first and add paid ads once the phones and the Google profile can handle what already comes in.

Market context

Why some agencies charge $6,000 and others charge $500

Why the expensive ones are expensive

  • They put senior people on your account instead of handing it to a junior coordinator.
  • They build custom sites and content instead of reskinning a template used by 400 other contractors.
  • They specialize, so they aren't learning about standby generators on your dime.
  • They include call answering, tracking and reporting instead of billing each one as an add-on.
  • Some are simply expensive because they sell to national brands and price accordingly.

Why the cheap ones are cheap

  • $300 to $800 a month usually buys you a checklist: a few directory listings, an auto-written blog post, and a screenshot report.
  • The work is offshored to people who don't know the difference between someone searching for a portable generator and a real standby install lead.
  • Content gets churned out by AI with nobody checking it, which can actually hurt you now.
  • They keep the website, domain or ad account in their own name, so leaving them costs you everything.
  • They bill you a percentage of ad spend, so they want you to spend more, not to book more estimates.

Where we fall: middle to upper-middle for a specialist. We're not the cheapest option in any market and we're not trying to be. We're also not a national brand agency charging five figures a month.

Lifetime cost

What a full year actually looks like

The starting price isn't the number that matters. This is the twelve-month picture, including the ad budget you pay platforms directly.

Estimated first-year cost by program
ProgramEstimated year oneWhat that covers
Storm Ready$18,000 + $1,500 setupNo required ad budget. Website, Wingman, Google profile, reviews and core SEO.
Power Up$42,000 + $1,500 setup + ad budget from $18,000Ad budget paid by you to Google. Full SEO plus managed Local Services Ads.
Powerhouse$60,000 + $1,500 setup + ad budget from $36,000Ad budget paid by you to Google and Meta. Every channel running together.

Overlooked

Costs dealers forget to budget for

Advertising budget

Our fee is our work. Google Ads, Local Services Ads and Meta budgets get billed by the platform directly to your card. Power Up assumes a $1,500/mo minimum on Local Services Ads. Powerhouse assumes $3,000/mo combined.

Software you may already pay for

A system for tracking customers, call tracking, and email tools. We can work with what you already have, but if you have none, budget for one. [TBD, confirm typical software cost for your setup.]

Photography and video

Real install photos beat stock photos every time. If nobody on the crew is shooting jobs, you'll eventually want a shoot day.

Your own time

About an hour for kickoff, then roughly 30 minutes a month on a strategy call, plus quick answers when we text you a question.

Ramp time

Paid ads bring leads in days. Local SEO usually shows movement in 60 to 90 days, with real volume between month four and six. Budget for the gap.

Honest assessment

Is this worth it for you?

Probably worth it if

  • You install whole-home standby generators and can handle more installs than you're booking today.
  • Your average install ticket is large enough that a handful of extra jobs a month covers the fee. Most dealers we talk to are in the $10,000 to $20,000 range per install.
  • You can answer or route calls fast, or you're willing to let Wingman do it.
  • You can commit to a build-up period before judging the results.

Probably not worth it if

  • You're already booked out further than you want to be and aren't trying to grow.
  • Your crew is already maxed out, and adding more leads would just create angry customers.
  • You need the phone to ring this week and can't fund any ad budget.
  • You want a guarantee on rankings or lead counts. Nobody honest can give you one.
  • You sell portable generators only. That's not our niche and we'd be guessing.
